The Bursting Barrel

The working class of Grey Hawk can often be found in this classic tavern in the center of town. Run by Gerthwin Bartelby, a welcoming and kindly older woman, the food is decent and the ale flows aplenty. Adventurer's passing through the town often stay here on the cheap, and it's been the source of more than a few adventuring party foundations. If someone wants to get all the local gossip or hear what needs doing in Grey Hawk, this is the place to be.
There are some small stables attached where Nora Gremble works as the main stablehand, and Dutch 'The Boozer King' Ottenbrau is a regular patron who often serves as a bouncer.
